Pupusa

今日は日曜だったので午前中は家でまったり。シンガポールGPをテレビで見てから、ついつい２度寝しちゃいました。（笑）起きて、軽くカップうどんを食べて、ピットをお風呂に居れてから、風呂場の掃除。

Since it was Sunday, had a slow morning and watched the Singapore GP on TV. And than went back to bed for more sleep. Woke up again, had a udon for breakfast, and bathed Pit before lunch.

２時過ぎになって、なんだかお腹がすいたので、近くの市場の中にあるエルサルバドル料理屋に行って、ププサをテイクアウトして食べました。最近ハマってるんですよね。これ、たぶん日本じゃ食べれませんね・・・。

I got done cleaning the bathroom at 2pm, and realized I was starving so decided to take a walk down the Grand Central Market for a snack. There is a famous Salvadorian joint there that apparently serves the best Pupusa's in town so I gave it a try.

なんだか、癖があるのですが、トウモロコシでできたトルティーヤの様な物の中にチーズや豆が入っている食べ物です。ついでに、上に塩漬けされたピリ辛キャベツとホットソースをのせて食べるとなかなか美味いんですよね〜！！おやつにはピッタリでした。

You definitely can't get Pupusas in Japan...The cabbage and the sauce, and the Pupusa was wicked good!! Good snack if you want to satisfy your hunger in the late afternoon.

それにしても、ププサって変な名前！？！

I still wonder...who cam up with the name Pupusa?!?
